Beaune, at the heart of Burgundy’s great wines
Beaune, the wine capital of Burgundy, is renowned for its heritage and atmosphere. The famous Hospices de Beaune, with their colourful glazed-tile roofs, are a must-see. Every year in November, the Hospices de Beaune Wine Auction is one of Burgundy’s major wine events.

Autun, two thousand years of history
Once a Gallo-Roman city, Autun boasts an exceptional heritage. Its impressive ancient theatre, Roman gates and Temple of Janus still bear witness to the importance of Augustodunum. Later, the town was enriched by the remarkable Saint-Lazare Cathedral, renowned in particular for the sculptures of Gislebertus. A wonderful escape where nearly two thousand years of history unfold as you wander through the streets.

The Morvan, a natural escape
Deep forests, rolling green hills, rivers and vast lakes: the Morvan reveals a very different side of Burgundy. Lake Settons is one of its most iconic sites, perfect for a walk along the water or a day in the great outdoors. Chalon-Saône, where history meets the art of living
On the banks of the Saône, Chalon-sur-Saône invites you to wander along its quays, through its narrow streets and lively squares. Around Saint-Vincent Cathedral, the historic centre reveals its old houses and terraces. On market days, the town comes alive with local produce and Burgundian flavours. A delightful escape combining heritage, leisurely walks and good food.
